Helping

“I’m going to kill you Satan spawns!”

‘Hide managed to contain a wince at the sound of Sebastian’s voice echoing in the building followed by the laughter of Sid and Sunny.  He wasn’t sure what the twins had done to tick off the medic, but all he knew was that Sebastian wasn’t going to fix the damages.  The yelling and laughing got louder and louder as they got closer but they apparently turned a corner because it suddenly started to get quieter.

After a while, Sebastian came back into the shop with a dark look on his face but appearing as if he just swam in glitter.  ‘Hide did duck down when stormy green eyes focused on him and slowly began to tense when the man got closer to him.

“Are you willing to hide bodies?” the normally gentle man growled.

“Yes sir.”  ‘Hide’s answer was immediate and apparently pleased his lover because the ominous feeling around him lessened.

There was quiet again in the shop save for the sound of the tools ‘Hide used, but that was broken when Eric walked into the area with a confused look on his face, which diminished when he saw Sebastian.  “Do you know you’re leaving a glitter trail?”

“Prime.  Leave.  Now.”

A meek “Yes sir,” answered him, followed by retreating footsteps.

“Y’know, you’re going to blind people when you go outside,” ‘Hide murmured, though he quickly stopped talking when a wordless snarl answered him.

Eric wasn’t sure what happened when he opened his eyes.  All he knew was that there was a headache forming, a bruise surfacing on his forehead, and a worried Alex hovering over him.

“What the hell happened?”

“I think I dozed off during homework.  You startled me when you came in I threw the first thing I could grab.”

Eric turned slightly to see a medium size hardback book lying on the ground near him.  “How did you throw that?”

Bee shrugged but quickly helped Eric when the man started to stand.  He looked slightly guilty when the older man rubbed his temples in attempts to lessen the headache.  “Put a sign out the next times you have a book near you, will you?”

Mistakes

“I’m sorry, miss.  You’re too young to buy this.”

Bee blinked at the man behind the counter, appearing vaguely confused.  “What?”

“You’re too young.  You must be over twenty one to buy this.”

“But…”  Bumblebee scowled, giving the man a dark look before turning around and spotting his son a short ways off, looking at a display.  “Network!  Can you come here for a minute?”

“Sure.”  The young man sauntered over to the counter, looking down slightly at the shorter blond.  “What do you need?”

Bee held the bottle of wine out to him and Network merely raised an eyebrow as he set the bottle onto the counter.  The cashier sighed slightly, as if this happened every day with under aged people.  “I’ll need to see the IDs of both of you.”

Network pulled out an ID card as did Bee and the cashier’ eyes widened slightly when he saw their ages.  He gave the cards back and looked at Bee with a slight blush.  “I’m sorry ma’am.  You just look so young.”

“Sure…”

“Do you need me anymore, father?” Network asked in a bored voice, pointedly ignoring the cashier.

Bee had to keep a grin from showing when he noticed the cashier turning a brighter red and his mouth working silently.  “I think that’s good for now.”
