Late Night Visit - TFA

"What the frag prompted you to try to experiment with your torches like that?!"

The singed mech grinned sheepishly, kicking his pedes lightly against the berth as he watched the femme move around.  "It seemed like a good idea at the time.  I didn't mean to catch myself on fire and wake you up…"

Red Alert glared back at Hot Shot who ducked his head, staring at his knee while the femme continued to gather her things before setting them down on the berth beside him.

"What am I going to do with you?" she grumbled, cleaning off the armor that was torn and carefully mended it.  "How did you get tears like this if you were just on fire?"

"I tripped while trying to put it out," he said.

Red Alert gave another sigh and fell silent as she worked, falling into a rhythm after a while of cleaning and mending the armor, then to just cleaning the armor.  She stood and cleaned off Hot Shot's face, blue optics squinting and Red Alert just smiled, shaking her head.  "I can't stay mad at you," she confessed, tossing the rags to the waste can.

She reached for the bottle of solvent when Hot Shot's hand caught.  "It must be my bright personality," he said, kissing Red Alert's hand before standing, leaning forward and kissing her forehead too.

The medic blushed slightly, unable to help but smile.  "Only you."

Her spark gave a flutter when Hot Shot smiled at her and the thumb of his free hand brushed her bottom lip.  "You look good without your lip paint."

"And you look good without the soot," she replied dryly, though Hot Shot just smiled at her.  "Now get out of here and back to your room before Rodimus finds you away from your room."

"Yes ma'am!" Hot Shot laughed, stealing a kiss from her lips before disappearing out of the door.

Shaking her head, she continued to clean up the room, though now there was a smile on her lips.
