Blurr didn’t know why he was brought along with Perceptor, Skyfire, and Wheeljack to the scientific conference that the three of them were presenting at.  The mechs didn’t carry anything big or dangerous with them and there was no reason for the Decepticons to seek them out to take whatever it was that the three of them made.

Wheeljack had tried to explain it to the speedster twice before.  Once in long words and phrases that anyone else would find hard to understand, and again with easier terms.  Either way, nothing really got through.

But Prime had insisted that there would be two guards to go along, much to the others’ annoyance.  Wheeljack had convinced the leader to bring it down to only one because while Perceptor and Skyfire might be unwilling to pick up a gun and fire back, he had no problem.  He also insisted that Blurr should be the other guard because not only were they able to communicate without comms, he could easily take the place of a handful of shooters with his abilities.

Might not be as accurate as Bluestreak, but he was good enough for what was needed.

Eventually Perceptor moved back and Wheeljack took a step forward to give his speech or whatever it was they called it and Blurr found a reason why he shouldn’t be so bored with guard duty anymore.

No matter what anyone said, his bondmate still had a nice aft.
