It was late by the time Becka got to the Ark, Breakbeat happily picking her up and giving her a ride to the Autobot base, but while she wasn’t surprised at what she saw in the rec. room, she was baffled as to how it got to that point.
Wheeljack, Blurr, and Ryuko were all on the large couch, the nineties American movie of Godzilla playing on the large TV, but only Wheeljack seemed to be watching it. Ryuko was asleep on the inventor’s shoulder, while Blurr was in recharge, slumped against his fellow ‘Bot.
Blue optics spotted Becka and Wheeljack gave a helpless shrug. “I don’t know how it happened,” he said quietly. “They’re both overcharged and despite appearances, Ryuko won’t let me change the channel.”
To prove his point, he reached for the remote which sat only a few feet away from his hand and the femme growled at him. When he pulled back, she settled down, but when he reached for it, it happened again. The entire time, only his free arm moved.
Becka snickered softly. “Better to have happy, sleepy drunks than angry ones.”
“Better that Blurr’s such a lightweight because no one wants to retrieve him when he’s halfway across the continent before it wears off,” Wheeljack muttered.
